Locks of Love

I decided to cut my hair short. It was getting on my nerves--always sticking to my neck and face, getting in Joshua's way, and just getting everywhere. So, rather than throw it away, I decided to donate my hair to Locks of Love. I first had to see what a minimum donation was. Ha! 10 inches. I could do that! so, we packed up and went to the salon yesterday and had it done.

See the before and after photos here!

If you want to find out more about Locks of Love, visit their website! It is a great cause. Children under the age of 18 who are diagnosed with permanent or long-term hair loss can qualify to receive a free hair piece. They usually run $3500-$6000, if they were to buy them outright. I think this is a worthy cause! And, if I don't like my hair, I can always grow it back! And then donate some more. :)
